Ingredients
Eating Healthy meals is one of ultimate solutions to achieving weight loss goals including exercise. Today I am going to walk you through one of my favorite recipes that is so nutritious your body will thank you for it. This salad dressing recipe is amazing and can be used on almost any salad. It is so robust and full of flavor it will change the dynamics of your meal which is always a good thing. The recipe is composed of seven simple flavorful nutritious rich ingredients. Here they are:
2 cloves of grated Garlic
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 Tbsp of Honey
1/4 Cup Balsamic vinegar

I want to talk about these ingredients individually so you are aware what you are putting in your body and how nutritious they are
OLIVE OIL
Olive oil is composed of mono saturated fats, a type of healthy fats good for our body. It is now known that it is the type of fats rather than the amount of fat that contributes weight gain in certain people. I was one person scared of fatty foods when I started my weight loss my journey. Through experience, I now use olive oil in almost everything, salads, baking, cooking and for hair it is that good and it is a raw product. I suggest you find the best quality of olive oil for maximum healthy benefits such as extra virgin olive oils. Extra Virgin Olive oil has a variety of valuable antioxidants which have been found to be good for weight control and heart healthy.
GARLIC
Garlic has been used for centuries due to its medicinal properties whether it is used raw or cooked the benefits are immense. Sulfur is one of the mineral found in garlic. Garlic has many healthy benefits among them producing collagen a substance used in the body to form connective tissue, healthy artery walls and cell structure. I do use garlic for everything, when I have a flu virus, a cold it seems to work miracles for me. I can only imagine other medicinal properties that garlic has and benefiting my body as I rarely get sick. The sulfur mineral found in garlic has been shown to reduce effects of skin diseases such as acne, warts and psoriasis. So keep in mind that garlic is not only about flavor but about has medicinal benefits as well.
LEMON
Lemon is such a humble and ancient fruit so versatile you can use it in almost any meal. I drink lemon water first thing every morning for its healthy benefits. Lemon is one of top foods rich in vitamin C to keep the immune system balanced. It is also used to aid digestion improve the function of blood vessels and increase urination to reduce fluid retention. It is one of those good for you foods that can be used to enhance flavor in meals. Sometimes I drizzle lemon juice on my food such as avocado and salad to add that zest. A combination of honey and lemon is a powerhouse of antioxidants both inside the body and skin outside. Honey is free and a natural energy booster. Drinking luke warm water with lemon and honey helps to reduce fat belly and obesity. I have experience this firsthand and I encourage anyone who struggles with belly fat to give this a try. Incorporate some exercise can do wonders to your body. Also, find good quality honey for maximum healthy benefits.
SALT/PEPPER
BALSAMIC VINEGAR
Balsamic Vinegar is known for it benefits in suppressing appetite and prevents overeating and ensures the body will digest food properly. It is full of antioxidants ( I call this anti aging ha!) they improve the immune system and guard against free radicals which can damage cells in the body causing cancer. Salt and Pepper contains many other minerals that are helpful to the body. Salt also helps with balancing the blood sugar levels in the body. Black pepper has been known to increase the absorption of beta carotene as well other many nutrients.

I love this recipe for salad dressing and will certainly try it out this week! As a vegetarian, I’m alsways looking for new ideas, and like your pasta recipe. I’m also a lover of garlic and olive oil! I use several cloves in most of my dishes, as well as olive oil for roasting or cooking in a saucepan. Thanks for sharing:)
Hi Kathy
I am not vegetarian but I mostly enjoy vegetarian meals though. I am glad you like this recipe. The idea is to eat whole foods that are easy to identify. My food policy anyway! Garlic is amazing I cannot have enough honestly. Thanks for passing by.
OMG, I am salivating from your post. This is definitely a salad dressing recipe that I would enjoy. I will be sure to try it out. That pasta looks absolutely amazing! I will also try it out with your dressing recipe. Thanks for sharing!

I have all those ingredients at home to make this dressing. I am gonna try it!
I have a question, can you substitute the Balsamic Vinegar for Apple Cider Vinegar? Have you?
Do you have any dressing recipes for an Apple Cider Vinegar dressing? I would love to get one.
I am glad you are going to try this it is delicious. I have not had one person who didn’t like it whenever I make it. Off-course you can substitute Balsamic Vinegar with Apple Cider but I encourage you try this recipe and then one with Apple Cider. They all have pretty much the same medicinal effects such as both vinegar are known to help lower cholesterol , they both help to control blood sugars and many other good things for the body. Balsamic is more on the sweeter side and I love the flavour it bring to meals.. Thank you for your comment.
I don’t consider myself much of a cook so never know what to put with what. I like easy but nutritious so your recipes are great for me. Thankyou for sharing.
