Healthy Eating Habits
Many times people eat mindlessly because they are tired, stressed, upset, or just emotional. When people are anxious and overwhelmed they hope food is will fix their emotions. But does it really!!! It is barely a sustainable way of keeping a healthy lifestyle. By paying a little more attention to how you are feeling will help you make better food choices. That really helps to heal the body and the mind. If you pay attention to your eating habits it is much easier to make changes that are going to help your weight loss goals and and stay healthy. I have got into a habit of listening to my body and carefully choose what I am going to eat next rather than just eat blindly. Weight loss and well-being should be treated as a real relationship journey which needs to be well thought of. Empower yourself with the right information about nutrition and know your body really well for realistic goal achievements
Our lifestyle can immensely contribute to our eating habits without realising it. For example if you are always stressed and busy you are highly likely to binge eat or be emotionally food driven when it comes to meal choices. Sometimes you just need to reach for a glass of water or handful of nuts before you can have your full meal. Slow down and be in the moment and remember your body functionality ultimately depends on your food choices. That’s where discipline and goal setting comes in. One can not underestimate the power of planing if you wish to see your weight loss goals come to fruition. I cannot stress the importance of meal planning.
I do plan my meals in the morning for the whole day and most of the time I never go wrong. What I plan to eat for dinner is what my body wants to eat even if it is still morning come dinner time I will still enjoy than meal it works like magic for me. overall what I am saying is love yourself and be proud to look after your engine (body). Your body will love you and every other benefits than comes with than. Another good example is of cars we drive today. Different cars required different fuel types right! Know your fuel type than is good for you and you will not go wrong.
Weight loss goal setting do not have to be complicated at all. Like I said planning ahead and eating the right foods to nourish your body should be your number one goal and weight loss goal 2 not vice versa. Empower yourself also by knowing different types of foods and how they relate to you. Educate yourself on the foods than you like to eat and make a list and then one by one find their nutritional benefits to your body. It is as simple as than and watch weight disappear.
Time factor should not be centre of your weight loss goals. Although it can be a factor for others it should only help to keep on track and focus. Your eating habits should become a part of who you are. I eat the foods than I love most of the time. It’s never boring and I don’t count calories. So do not be yoked with is idea of fast tracking weight loss with diets most of the time it is not sustainable overtime. The key is focus on the journey and how every little step counts. Every little step will count!
Keep active and get plenty of sleep so you feel energised. Love yourself enough to share the love. It means if you are capable of loving yourself it shouldn’t be hard to share the love I think. Remember eating habits and planning go together no matter what. Time will tell what you are investing in your body.
