This Banana chocolate Brownie is delicious. This recipe can be a no bake recipe and it is still delicious. The original recipe has only 3 ingredients bananas, cacao and peanut butter. But I like to spice things a bit. I don’t have a sweet tooth but I had to sweeten it a bit for my husband.

    Steps

    1

Add all the ingredients together in a food processor and pulse for 10-20 seconds. The consistency should be thick you can add 2 tbsp of nut milk to a consistency that you prefer.

Bake in the oven @180°C for 20-25 minutes

I love the fact that it’s so simple and easy to do this recipe. I love brownies and general and banana, I believe this would be perfect when we have some over ripe bananas which we can put into good use and do something sweet.
Does it make a difference having this done with Ripe bananas?

It does not matter at all probably the best option as the bananas are full of flavour then. Let me know when you make them and be careful not to finish them before they are in the oven😀

Just wow! Thank you so much for sharing this super easy recipe. My kids love brownies, so I am tempted to enter the kitchen, try this out and brag to my wife for a whole week about how good of a chef I am. I am so sure it’ll turn out well following your recipe.

Quick question, can I freeze the brownie for later and microwave for when I need to bribe my kids?

The image looks so tasty. Good job, Angee.

    Cheers,
    Femi.

    Hi Femi
You are welcome. I hope you get to make it share with us here if you do. Yes you can definitely freeze it just make sure you fully thaw the mix before you can bake it. It is so good I eat some before I even bake it.😀 Thank you for passing by.

    Hi Angee,
Thanks for sharing with us your recipe for making a banana chocolate brownie. I love how simple it is, and the result looks so yummy. Adding cinnamon and sea salt is brilliant, and I cannot wait to make one at home.

I wonder, what else spice or ingredients you’ve ever added to this recipe to add more flavors? It would be nice if you could share more combinations. 🙂

    Hi Matt
While this is meant to be a super easy no fussy recipe, there is no reason why you cannot add more flavour to it. I have added ginger, mixed baking spice, you can use peanut butter instead of almond, are all good examples of spices you could add. Hope that helps!

Again… Yummy, brownies, and bananas! What could go wrong?

Ummmm, quite a lot could go wrong actually, because I would end up eating too many, too frequently. I’ve been cutting down on what I eat recently to get into better shape, but you had to go and introduce 2 of my favorite things together….

I think I’ll have to ban myself from your site if you blog about too many more delicious deserts, haha. just joking. Bring them on, as I will be back for more 🙂

Haha you are so funny Andrew. The thing with recipe is you can actually finish the mix before it gets to the oven it is that good. I ate the half the mix first time I made it. So delicious. Let me know if get to make it.
    Cheers

    Hi Angee,
this banana chocolate brownie looks appetizing! And it must be really simple to prepare, I can do it, too! 🙂
I love spices with chocolate, especially chili and turmeric, what do you recommend?
    Miriam

    Hi Miriam
Thank you for your comment. Yes you can add any spices you like a bit of chilli will be nice with cinnamon goes well together. Not sure about turmeric in this recipe you can certainly try since it is so good for you.
    Cheers

Thanks for sharing your banana chocolate brownie recipe. I love chocolate brownies but I didn’t think to add bananas to the recipe. So will definitely try this and see how good it tastes. I’m sure it’ll taste great because I love bananas as well.
