½ Cup Black Beans Cooked
½ Red Onion sliced
2 Cups sweet potato raw diced
1 Cup Kale chopped
2 cloves garlic crushed
1 Tsp Paprika
2 Tbsp Olive oil
50 ml Water if needed
salt and pepper

      Cook beans and sweet potato prior to making this recipe. you can use raw sweet potatoes as well I find the texture improves.

      Chop the kale and slice the onions and set aside. In a food processor pulse the sweet potatoes garlic and onions for 3 seconds add the kale and pulse again for 2 seconds. You don't want to pulse them together to keep some texture.

      Add the cooked black beans and paprika and pulse again for another 3 second or until it is all mixed together to form burger patties. You don't want a smooth consistency leave a bit of texture to the mixture. If too thick or dry add a bit of water/olive oil to soften. Shape into round burger shapes using your hands and lay on a baking tray. Bake for 20-25 on 180 °C or until golden brown. Serve with your favourite sauce, make a lettuce wrap burger with avocado and cucumber or break into small pieces and throw in your favourite salad.
