Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 large Beetroot About 400g
½ Cup Spring Onions Chopped
½ Cup Quinoa Preccooked and well drianed
1 Tsp ginger
3 Cloves garlic Medium
1 Cup Parsely
2 Tbsp Buckwheat Flour Optional Chickpea flour or use 1 Tbsp flax meal as added binder
1 Tsp Ground Coriander
½ Medium Red Onion
Salt and Pepper

Beetroot Quinoa Burgers

    These Beetroot Quinoa burgers are so flavoursome and wholesome they will leave you satisfied even those who don’t love veggies will be surprised and love them.

    Cook ½ Cup of quinoa in 1½ Cups of water for 8 minutes, drain and set aside. Prepare a baking tray and turn the oven on at 180ºC

    Grate the beetroot or put in a food processor until a rice grainy texture and put in a bowl.

    Add all the other ingredients including the cooked quinoa and mix together.

    Begin to make patties using your hands to your desired thickness and shape.

    Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. Give them a oil brush after taking them out for that shiny delicious look.

    Serve with salad and your favourite sauce.
