These Crisp Baked Tofu Bites are vegetarian, dairy free, wheat free. They are crisp and full of flavour and you will have a delicious snack in no time. If you are like me I get bored eating the same food all the time and this recipe will add a different infusion to tofu. No need to marinade just straight cooking and it is super tasty.
You can pan fry them but I prefer baking as seems to make them more crispier. I used chickpea flower as a binder and it works perfectly to keep them together.

Tamari /Soy Sauce
Garlic
Onion
Ginger

In a food processor blend garlic, ginger and tamari or soy sauce until mixed. This does not need to be smooth. or use knife to chop. Add this mixture to tofu and combine together with onions. |

Mix in chickpea flour slowly and make sure it is well combined in order to form into shapes. Set aside. In the meantime in a baking pan lay a backing paper and begin to shape the mixture into desired shapes. I used a round food server or use a round cookie cutter. 1 inch thickness. Bake in the oven @180º for 20-25 minutes. |
