Crispy Teriyaki Tofu is so delicious and easy to make. I made this a heathier version without sugar as it is traditionally made with lot of sweeteners. Teriyaki sauce is great for flavouring most foods and Tofu is no exception when it comes to this great sauce. I love the texture of firm tofu not really a fan of soft curd. This is the ultimate tofu dish made with my health homemade teriyaki sauce. I got introduced to tofu by my vegetarian husband. It is a curd made from soy beans. I do make it quite often and flavouring it enhances its flavour I find.

After 20 mins drizzle some oil in a non stick sauce pan stir in the marinated tofu (leave some of the marinade liquid and add as needed as you cook) and continue stirring until it turns golden brown and set aside. The flavour is amazing (mild sweet) and savoury. Serve with brown rice and or steamed vegetables. |
