Stove Top OptionThis is an optional way to roast this granola on the stove top. I prefer this method as I have total control of roasting and tossing the granola to exactly my preferred texture and colour. I have also total control of the heat which is quite important as the ingredients tend to burn very quickly. So the same first step mix all ingredients in a bowl except the chia seeds and the flax meal. In a large fry pan toss all the ingredients for 6 or more minutes making sure they do not burn you have to continually stir until done. Don't forget to add the chia seeds and flax meal towards the end. Let it cool before storing. Serve with almond milk and banana or fresh berries. |
