Educate Yourself. Yes, you need to have a basic understanding of how food affects your body’s functionality.

Weight loss should be easy, fun and sustainable.

What happens with the food you eat?

Your body produces energy in one of two main ways.

1. Burn sugar (glucose) for energy from carbohydrates (and store

the excess as body fat) or

2. Burn body fat for energy by converting the stored body fat back

into sugar (glucose).

It is as simple as that; you just need to switch from burning sugar and

storing fat into breaking down fat and burning it for energy.

Eliminating refined carbohydrates from your diet can be a useful step

towards changing your body’s primary fuel source from sugar to fat. This

shift may encourage your body to utilize fat for energy instead.

Eat:

• Whole, minimally processed foods.

• Limits or avoids animal products.

• Focuses on plants, including vegetables, fruits, whole grains,

legumes, seeds, and nuts, which should make up the majority of

what you eat.

• Eliminate refined foods, like added sugars, white flour, and

processed oils.

• Food quality, promoting locally sourced, organic food whenever possible.

This is how a healthy plant-based diet works and this is how you

accelerate weight loss while increasing energy, mental clarity and

regulating hormones etc…

You may also practice intermittent fasting this may help to speed up results.

This means you are using your body’s ability to break down fats more

quickly and burn them for energy.

Intermittent fasting does NOT mean you don’t eat and don’t drink, rather you need to know what to eat and when to eat to keep you burning fat. Read more about it in Dr Jason Fung’s book The Complete Guide to Fasting
